Alison Larmee Born, L.Ac., MSOM has been practicing in Wilmington since 2006 and is the visionary founder of Cape Fear Community Acupuncture—bringing the area’s first sliding‑scale clinic to the community.
A dedicated herbalist and licensed acupuncturist, Alison holds a Master’s in Oriental Medicine and is board-certified in reproductive acupuncture—the first practitioner in Southeastern North Carolina with this credential from the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine.
She combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, whole-person approach, supporting clients through pain, stress, fertility, and overall wellness.
